Dinner and a Show! |

A porkchop and chicken dinner will be served at 4 pm prior to the 'USO Type" show - featuring the Chicago Honey Bear Dancers at 6 pm on Saturday, August 9. The dinner is $10 and includes potato, vegetable casserole, dinner role and beverage (coffee, soda, milk or water). |

Dr. Lowell Peterson, a cardialogist at the Appleton Heart Institue will share his talk "July 27, 1965 - The Turning Point in the Vietnam Air War" on Saturday, August 9 at 10:30 a.m. Dr. Peterson served as a US Air Force flight surgeon with the 18th Tactical Fighter Wing. |

Vintage Tractors & Equipment are a large part of this annual show. A larger display will be featured in 2008 just west and south of the Iola Old Car Show information tower. Look for this feature to continually grow! |

'USO' Type Show slated for 2008 Military Show |

A 'USO' Type Show is being planned for the 17th Annual Iola Vintage Military Show with Vintage Tractors and Equipment weekend. This high energy, family-oriented show will feature the Chicago Honey Bear Dancers. This group has performed worldwide for fairs, fests, corporate events and over 180 Military Bases. Members of this group have also performed on the TV series "Star Search" and "American Idol". In addition to the Honey Bear Dancers, a Fashion Show will be featured with "styles of the times" costume. The show is scheduled for Saturday night, August 9 at 6 pm with a special dinner being planned prior to that. We hope you make plans to attend the 17th Iola Vintage Military Show the weekend of August 9 & 10! |

Vietnam - "Fire In The Sky" re-enactment planned.. |

A Vietnam Battle Re-enactment 'Fire In The Sky' will take place during the Iola Vintage Military Show on Saturday, August 9, in the afternoon. This event will include many pyrothechnic "blasts, smoke, and rumbling in the sky". Tentatively planned is a helicopter fly-over during this part of the show. |
